This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production Peter Pan (1953). This hand-painted cel features the blonde mermaid from the lagoon as she holds a starfish to put into her hair. It was created at the studio and used during production, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The cel is paired with a custom reproduction background. The overall measurements of the piece are 12.5" x 16" and the image itself measures 4.5" x 6.5". The production cel is in very good condition.
